Alcatel OT-C750

 The Alcatel OT-C750 is a pretty normal handset by most standards. In fact most of you will be disappointed to know that it lacks basic connectivity features such as Bluetooth and USB. But it does have a very cool feature, that is the "mirror finish". The display (check out the gallery) will not be visible when the handset is in stand by mode or switched off. It acts like a plain mirror in fact giving you a reflection. Besides being extremely handy, it also confuses most people as they look around for some way to "open" the phone. They think that it is a clamshell or a slider whose display is hidden.

The functionality of the handset is pretty basic. It has a standard VGA camera and about 3 megabytes of memory (built-in) which has to be used for all the purposes. The OT-C750 does not have any expansion slot which may be used to increase the memory. The dual band GSM handset has photo caller ID and a phonebook that stores upto 500 contacts.

The Alcatel Ot-C750 comes only in the Silver color. Standard functions such as a To-do list, WAP and J2ME compatibility are all present. At 90 grams, the handset is a very good choice once it is released (expected by 1st quarter of 2006).
