Samsung P850

The Samsung P850 is a pleasant surprise since it has TV output which means we can use the 3 mega pixel camera to take videos and photographs which can be viewed on the big screen. The display of the P850 itself is also of 256,000 colors. The outer one is OLED and good enough for 65,000 colors. The three megapixel camera will take pictures which will be heavy weights when you consider their sizes. To take care of this, the Samsung P850 is armed with a T-flash card slot. The camera will also offer a 4x digital zooming facility. The included flash is efficient enough only upto a distance of 1 meter but anything more powerful would impact the battery performance and consequently the talk time of the phone itself.
Playing of multimedia sound files such as Mp3 , AAC should be of excellent quality considering that the handset has dual speakers. In addition to the 64 channel polyphonic tones, Mp3 files can also be set as caller tones. The videos and photos that you shoot, as also songs from the PC can be easily transferred to and fro from the P850 by the excellent connectivity options. These include Bluetooth (fast, wireless and effort free) ; USB (if your laptop / PC does not have bluetooth) and if both these fail then the Infrared port as well. The phone will also have Sync ML support.
Due to be released by the third quarter of 2005, the  Samsung P850 has something that was asked by the people for a long time, a high resolution display with an equally powerful camera. The handset can easily be used by a professional, but of course they would never use anything but something thats only a camera; anyway the Samsung P850 should be the best substitute if it comes to that. Amateurs will love to watch their videos on TV directly from the phone.
